He was born in Warsaw, Poland on 1964. He obtained Master
degree (in electronics, automatics and electrical engineering) in 1992,
engineer
degree (in the field of microelectronics and microwaves) in 1993, and
was postgraduated with
DEA
in electronics in 1995, from
University
of Lille, France.
He received the Ph.D. degree
from the University of Valenciennes
and Hainaut-Cambresis in 1999. This work contributes to the subject
of indexing and pattern recognition in an image database (constituted of
object contours), by using local invariant descriptions and it was achieved
in the Groupe de Recherche
Images et Formes of Ecole Nouvelle d'Ingenieurs
en Communication in France.
Stanislaw Matusiak is research Assistant, working on the final stage
of ECOSAR project, under direction of Professor
A. Guissard. The main objective of this project is to develop an interpretation
schema of the data collected from spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar remote
sensing. This schema will be used for the characterisation of tropical
vegetation and forest based on the backscattering modeling of electromagnetic
wave.
